Bridge Adjustment

Bridge services available:

Straightening a bent or warped bridge by way of steam bending (only when present).
When bridges bend it is usually forward towards the fingerboard. A violin/viola bridge stands straight when the back (tailpiece side) stands upright at 90 degrees to the plate. A cello or bass bridge may be cut a bit more angled with the front end being a bit fuller than the back end.

Feet fit only - the feet will be professionally made to fit the radius of the top plate arch of your instrument, optimising the transmission of sound from the strings to the instrument.

Feet, Arch, and Sound Trim - the feet will be professionally made to fit the radius of the top plate arch of your instrument. The radius holding up the strings will be adjusted to optimal string height and string spacing. The bridge trim for sound purposes will be optimised as well.
