£6,750.00
  • An excellent choice of Violin for soloists as well as progressing violinlovers and advanced orchestral players.

  • Measuring 355mm on the back, bridge position is at 195mm and neck length is 130mm, resulting in an active string length of 326mm

  • Made with Bosnian maple neck, back and sides and strong grained tonewood spruce for the top.

  • The sound is immediately there, it takes no effort to produce and the instrument’s voice is clear and balanced with plenty of layering to explore.

  • The varnish is a golden yellow and reminds us of the amber tones of a smooth Islay whisky, true to the popular regional delicacies of the country this violin hails from.

  • Ebony fittings

  • Original Maker’s setup, fully checked in-house

  • Unique opportunity to own a violin of Fife’s most original contemporary violin makers. Caroline never made the same model twice in the same way. That guarantees that every instrument is exclusive and a one-off. Investing in a newer instrument means the musician has the rare opportunity to shape its sound as the instrument matures.

  • Caroline hugely enjoyed giving many of her instruments a unique character by carving unique headstocks instead of the traditional scrolls.
