Product Information

A superb condition and well cared for vintage Violin, this full size handmade instrument from the workshop of Alfred Moritz in Dresden, c.1885. This violin is made after an instrument model of Nicolo Amati.

The front is of evenly grained spruce, the neck, ribs and back are of very attractive bird’s eye maple. (Length of Back 362mm). With the new set-up the instrument gained its full potential of a richly warm sound (due to the model, and the choice of wood).
